Here is an overview of how the trip takes place:
Duration: 09–10 days (depending on flight schedules).
We will snowboard in Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan, home to stunning volcanoes and the best terrain for backcountry snowboarding and splitboarding.
On this snowboard trip there will be no ski lifts – only your splitboard and your legs to reach the summits and enjoy the ultimate powder descents.
Mandatory equipment to participate: splitboard, Airbag backpack (not mandatory but recommend), avalanche safety gear (transceiver, probe, shovel). Ice axe and crampons are not required but strongly recommended.
