Livigno has been for years the destination of our summer pilgrimages on mtb, when a certain type of riding in Italy could only be found here. The first downhill bikes, the first world cup races, everything passed through this splendid valley wedged between Switzerland and Italy. Over the years, many other places have been inspired by Livigno and its model has marked the development of a certain Mountain Bike Culture throughout all the Alps.
Over the years, the concept of downhill mtb has evolved into a more natural form, the Enduro Mtb; and just like the bikes, the trails have also adapted to this new trend, becoming more gentle and rideable by an ever-increasing number of bikers, even beginners. On the opposite side of the historic Mottolino Bike Park, the town of Livigno, with the Società Impianti Carosello 3000, has created a network of trails that fully reflects this new mtb riding philosophy: the Flow Trails of Carosello 3000.

A network of 50 km of easy-to-medium difficulty single-track mtb trails (there is only one black line, a beautiful natural enduro) that make a day of mountain biking easy and fun for everyone, also thanks to the fast uhpill at high altitude given by the Lifts of Livigno Carosello 3000.
The collaboration with a mountain bike icon like Hans Rey, who has always been in love with Livigno, made these Trails been designed to guarantee maximum fun in complete safety.
Between berms and jumps you can start from 3000 meters of altitude down to the Village of Livigno with an excellent downhill gradient, that can be repeated several times.
And at the end of the day, to conclude our tour on a high note, you can get off the single track of Val Federia for a nice snack in a typical farmhouse at the end of the valley.
A nice way that we recommend to spend a mtb day among the Livigno Carosello 3000 trails is the “Tutti Frutti” tour: 45 km long, with only a few hundred meters of pedaled uphill, given the presence of cable cars and chair lifts, will let us know the best of the Livigno Carosello Flow Trails with natural terrain worthy of note. Oh, and the overall downhill vertical drop is almost 4.000 meters! Not bad for a single day tour 🙂 …
