ATTENTION! THIS IS A BACKCOUNTRY SKI MOUNTAINEERING TOUR IN WHICH SKI LIFTS ARE NOT USED, ONLY UPHILL WITH SKINS BE PREPARED MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY. MANDATORY REQUIRED MATERIAL: backcountry skitouring skis with uphill skins and tilting or ski touring bindings / ski touring boots with walk mode for climbing uphill / abs backpack or similar with self-rescue material transceiver probe shovel / ice ax and crampons not mandatory but recommended.

Overnight in Refuges or Equipped Huts: The Cabins

Many times to facilitate the approach to the ski touring itineraries, given that in North America, unlike the Alps, the distances are much greater, it will be necessary to stay overnight in refuges or equipped huts called cabins. The Cabins are equipped with beds and are heated with wood stoves, but food and garbage must be transported uphill and downhill.
