TRAVEL PROGRAM:
This Japan Ski Trip is designed for expert skiers and snowboarders who demand the best. The itinerary will be tailored to the optimal snow conditions we find prior to departure, ensuring you are always in the right place at the right time.
Here is an overview of how the trip will unfold:
Duration: 09–10 days (depending on flight schedules).
We may travel to Hokkaido, Japan’s northernmost island and the home of legendary powder, where we will explore less crowded ski areas and hidden secret spots.
Alternatively, we may head to Honshu, the main island, where a 3–4 hour drive from Tokyo brings us to the Japanese Alps of Hakuba, featuring majestic peaks over 3,000 meters.
To chase the best snow, we will not rely solely on lifts. The trip includes backcountry ski mountaineering (skitouring), splitboarding with skins, as well as lift-assisted days where we access off-piste terrain requiring skins.
Important: Participation requires suitable ski or snowboard equipment: touring or tilting bindings, splitboard or snowshoes, ABS backpack (or similar), and avalanche safety gear including transceiver, shovel, and probe.
We also offer adventure days on snowmobiles or catskiing with Local Guides, exploring the perfect terrain to make your Japan ski trip unforgettable.
